First would be a dining room. In a very cinematic take two tables and a few chairs could be very interesting crowding a room for a fight. It could be very difficult to maneuver around them and a smart fighter would use them to his advantage kicking chairs into people's way and throwing them etc.
A kitchen. It might be interesting to look up what was in a medieval kitchen. No refrigerators at the time. Maybe an icebox but probably shelves and bags of produce, flour, salted and dried meats etc.
But the main thing for the room would be kitchen knives and pots and pans for make-shift weapons.
Bedroom/sleeping quarters.
Bland but in the bed room is a trap door to the basement.....
